Interpump Group SpA is the world’s largest producer of high-pressure professional piston pumps and one of the main groups operating on international markets in the hydraulics sector. The Interpump Group was founded by Fulvio Montipò in 1977 in S. Ilario d’Enza (RE), where the parent company, Interpump Group SpA , started its production of high-pressure piston pumps.
Thanks to the conception of more compact and manageable products, intuition of Montipò, and the adoption of innovative materials, Interpump Group SpA became in just a few years the world’s largest manufacturer of high-pressure piston pumps, and its products a reference point for the market.
Since the 1990s, the growth of the Interpump Group began to develop outside the piston pump sector, through the acquisition of leading companies in the production of professional and industrial cleaning machines and electric motors.
In 1996, Interpump Group SpA was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In the three-year period 1997-1999, the Interpump Group entered the hydraulic sector through the acquisition of a number of companies, becoming the world’s largest producer of power take-offs.
In 2005, the activities in the sector of professional and industrial cleaning machines were sold, as part of a process of repositioning the Group in the sectors with the highest technology, where acquisitions of leading companies continued.
The Interpump Group strategy aims to further strengthen its current position of leadership in the production of high pressure pumps, power take-offs and hydraulic pumps, and to pursue further growth in these sectors, including through targeted acquisitions
[Founded in 1947, Pratissoli Pompe has established itself from the very first years of its activity thanks to the skills of its founder, Leonida Pratissoli, who with great intuition and skill caught and anticipated the needs of a market in those years characterized by the turmoil for agricultural mechanization.
Thus were born the first membrane pumps for spraying and weeding, which quickly established themselves both in Italy and abroad.
The criteria of absolute technical rigor adopted for those pumps, still recognized today, were soon appreciated also by the industry thanks to which the Company will be exposed, in the first part of the ‘70s, to the world of piston pumps, which in short they will detect membrane ones thanks to superior performance.

Today, Pratissoli Pompe is one of the most prestigious brands in the world, both for the wide and diversified range offered and for the technical solutions adopted.
