Despite it being a tongue twister, the Floor Plan Fuel Tank is an innovative machine component that we are proud of - a concept invented in-house, by our very own manufacturing and assembly teams. The Floor Plan FuelTank is a solution, designed not only to store fuel but to keep it away from the critical components that comprises a high-pressure washer.

The Floor Plan Fuel Tanks was carefully thought through, both in terms of functionality and visual appearance. The Floor Plan Fuel Tank’s bright red appearance serves as an indication of a risk of flame, encouraging the operator to exercise caution when using the machine. Regarding our machines, the Floor Plan Fuel Tank is incorporated into only a few of our PWP and PWJ units, specifically those with 30litre tanks and 33/32 horsepower engines.
The Technical Side
Our Floor Plan Fuel Tanks are manufactured externally by reputable, proudly South African businesses, who share our innovative mindset and vision of “Engineered for pressure, built to last”. Our manufacturer makes use of rotamoulding or rotomoulding, which in this case, involves the use of Polypropylene (a type of plastic) and a moulding technique, ultimately resulting in the production of a 5mm heavy-duty plastic, Floor Plan Fuel Tank. Additionally, the tank was designed with the incorporation of a fuel filler breather, which allows the tank to breathe, and at the same time, prevents any fuel from leaking out.
